IMCC purchased a 300ton crane barge “JAWHARAH III” which is completely outfitted and equipped for offshore diving, crane & ROV operations.“JAWHARAH III” equipped with Mooring system; Handling equipment, Hydrographic survey equipment, Staff quarters & Helipad on board.

This was the barge accommodation
barge with no pipe laying equipment
IMCC awarded with long term contract for pipe laying
and they become a need to convert their barge from
accommodation barge to be derrick barge.
MBCS once we get the first communication from (IMCC), we did the full coordination with our factory in China and starting the discussion with (IMCC) for the proper winch.
MBCS with the factory china customize the product to match the exact need of (IMCC).
MBCS and the factory China give the full support to ARIES marine (engineering office) to full fill the class requirements.
Finally the load function test of 75ton tensioner and A/R winch with 16’’ demo pipe was done successfully.
Job done and commissioned in a proper and perfect way this was our first project for MBCS and we are looking to serve our clients in the region as well.
